Testimonials
Working with Ryan was a memorable highlight of my production career. Typically, when a drummer is as technically proficient as Ryan, they come with an (arguably deserved) ego to match it. What he has instead, is a curious and eager desire to do what’s best for the song. Ryan comes prepared with his own fully formed ideas, but is open to input from anyone else in the room. His skillset is so versatile that he can throw down any idea as if he came up with it himself!

We hired Ryan Claxton to track a few songs in the studio for the band and he not only was super enthusiastic about the project but was also open in regards to sharing his knowledge about drums, which created a friendly atmosphere on the get go. The songs sound killer, and he’s got a great personality and work ethic- what more could you want?

Ryan is easily one of the best drummers I’ve worked with. Came in prepared, knew exactly what the songs needed, and was super easy to bounce ideas off of. A true professional. If you are looking for a solid person to lay down bed tracks, look no further!

Ryan has been through it all with us! He's tracked drums for some of our songs in the studio and is very creative and collaborative, with a close attention to detail and willingness to adapt on the fly. He's also extremely reliable and professional both on and off stage, having played countless shows with us across Canada/US and being a joy to tour with. He's rock solid and versatile behind the kit, and has also always been game for the wacky stage antics we tend to involve him in ... most of all though, Ryan's a great dude with a big heart who we've been delighted to not only work with but also call a friend. Whatever you need from a drummer, Ryan can provide!
